COMMANDER HILL—I enjoyed being with you and the others today at Fort Jackson—making a difference at all levels among our Nation’s finest! GODSPEED on your important mission across this great USA and the world! By the way, you NAVY and AIR FORCE vets can shoot the M-16 with impressive SKILL!
Dear Commander Hill, It was a great honor for myself and the other Blue Star Mothers to meet you last evening in Murrells Inlet. I was so impressed with your speech and with the Warrior Comfort campaign. Bud Hennis and the entire staff at the Murrells Inlet American Legion have been our greatest supporters. We could not have done half of what we have accomplished without them. Our children are the future Legionnaires so we take great pride in making sure to show our respect and gratitude to the current Legionnaires. I wish you the best on your travels around the US. After meeting you last evening, there is no doubt you will leave a lasting, positive impression about the American Legion where ever you go!

It was a great pleasure for Drue and I to have met you in Columbia,SC yesterday. Hearing from you about the future direction of the American Legion was enjoyed by both of us. Thank you for what you said to our Legislatures at the State House, you made all Veterans of South Carolina very proud.
Post 178 and our Legion Riders were Honored to have you attend the welcome home party for our Department Commander Bud Hennis. We Know that made him very proud in having you there. Again Thank You and God Bless…. See you on the Legacy Run in August.
