National Commander’s Incentive Awards

Upon his installment, American Legion National Commander Clarence Hill announced several incentive programs for membership recruitment, post excellence, and visits to posts by district commanders and vice commanders. Hill will award his National Commander Pin to any Legion family member who signs up at least five new members. Commander Hill’s “I met T.H.E. Job Challenge” Pin recognizes those in the Legion family who actively recruit new members. The Post Visitation Award rewards district commanders and district vice commanders who visit posts within their district, and the Post Excellence Award recognizes posts that achieve excellence in membership participation, youth activities, community service and support to veterans or troops.
